Historical & Conservation Significance
Established in 2005 with support from the China Wildlife Conservation Association, the pavilion symbolizes Macau’s ties to mainland China and global wildlife preservation. The current panda family—Kai Kai and Xin Xin (gifted by China in 2015) and their twins (born 2016)—reflects successful breeding efforts.
