The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden in Yunnan, China, is the largest tropical botanical garden in China and one of the most biodiverse in the world. Established in 1959, it spans 1,125 hectares with over 13,000 plant species, 38 specialized zones, and a preserved 250 sq km tropical rainforest. It combines scientific research, conservation, and eco-tourism.
Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG), a nationally recognized AAAAA-rated tourist attraction in Menglun Town, Yunnan, is a crown jewel of tropical biodiversity. Founded in 1959 by botanist Cai Xitao, it serves as a "Noah’s Ark" for endangered plants and a global hub for tropical research.
