Luhuitou Park, known as "Sanya's Love Mountain," is a legendary AAA-rated scenic spot featuring a 15m-tall deer sculpture symbolizing a timeless Li ethnic love story. Offering panoramic city/bay views, it combines romance, ecology, and Li culture with free entry since 2022.
The Sanya Tourism Board (STB) is the official destination marketing organization for Sanya, Hainan, established in 2020 to promote the city as a world-class tropical resort. It focuses on international tourism development, digital marketing (via https://www.visitsanya.com/ ), and global partnerships, targeting markets like Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East through innovative campaigns like "Wonderland Sanya."
Haitang Bay, located 28km northeast of Sanya, is one of China's five major bays and a designated "National Coast" development zone. Known for its pristine 21.8km coastline, luxury resorts like Atlantis Sanya, and world-class diving at Wuzhizhou Island, it blends unspoiled beaches with high-end tourism infrastructure.
Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone, located 40km southwest of Sanya, is a UNESCO-listed Buddhist sanctuary famed for its 108m-tall Guanyin Statue—the world’s tallest gold-jade sea-viewing deity. Spanning 34.7km² (13.3km² ocean), it blends Tang Dynasty temples, coral reefs, and Li minority traditions under the mantra "Happiness in the East Sea, Longevity in Nanshan."

Perched on a 181m-high peninsula southwest of Sanya (18°14'N, 109°31'E), this 82.88-hectare AAAA site is named after a Li hunter’s pursuit of a magical deer that transformed into a maiden—a tale immortalized in the park’s 15m granite sculpture.
