Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, a historic district in Fuzhou with over 1,700 years of Fujian culture, is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List and designated as a 5A-rated national tourist attraction. Known as the "Living Fossil of Chinese Lane Systems," it features well-preserved Ming and Qing architecture, ancestral homes of notable figures such as Lin Zexu, and vibrant local traditions ranging from lantern festivals to Fuzhou cuisine.
