Guoliang Village, nestled in the Taihang Mountains of Henan Province, is a 4A-rated cliffside village famed for its hand-carved Guoliang Tunnel (1.3km long, 5m high), dubbed the "World’s Ninth Miracle." Built by 13 villagers from 1972–1977 without machinery, it transformed this isolated settlement into a tourist hotspot. The village features stone houses, dramatic cliffs, and a 1,200m "Sky Ladder", with over 60 films shot here. A symbol of resilience, it attracts 1.4M+ annual visitors for its blend of natural grandeur and cultural heritage.
